Carrie E. Coyner, Founder
The mother of a child with food allergies, Carrie Coyner co-founded fAllergy.com in the Summer of 2009. Her frustrations with finding places for her family to eat, and the long hours spent at the grocery store reading food labels fueled her passion to provide this database of information. Through fAllergy.com she’s been able to share her knowledge to assist others by providing recipes, restaurant menu items, food products, and other valuable resources to make living with food allergies easier. She is an advocate for food-safe schools so that children with food allergies are not inadvertently put at risk. Carrie is a practicing attorney in Virginia where her legal practice focuses on real estate and business law. When she’s not working, she likes dancing, cooking, and spending time with her husband and three amazing kids.

Matthew “Matt” R. Coyner M.S., Founder
Matt co-founded FAllergy in the Summer of 2009. Why? Matt couldn’t keep up with his wife’s list of allergen safe foods and restaurants as it was ever-changing and she never had time to write it all down. Matt's desire to have an accessible and up-to-date list of allergen-safe foods brought about the idea that became fAllergy.com. He saw the opportunity to share information via the web to reduce the amount of time it takes to shop and find places to eat out. Matt's goal is to have over 100 restaurants involved in fAllergy.com by 2011. Matt has a background in biochemistry and is currently working in real estate development. When he’s not working, he enjoys football, travel, and spend time with the family.

Jason Safro, Founder
With over a decade of Web development experience, Jason Safro not only makes sure the Travelgoat site runs smoothly, but that its tools and features grow along with its community. From humble beginnings in 1997, Safro worked his way up to senior developer for Ultra Logistics, a logistics management service. While there, Safro designed applications that handled over $60 million in freight annually for major corporations including L'Oreal, Anchor Glass, Kraft and K-Mart. Safro has experience with election management, data mining, web marketing and SEO, too. When he's not holed up in front of a computer, he likes scuba diving, travel and Thai boxing.
